First Let Me Say It Like This:

If, according to the on-going debate, “traditional agency copywriters are storytellers” and “direct response copywriters are salesmen,” how wonderful would it be to have both? How wonderful would it be to have a writer who connects and in connecting who actually sells?

How About I Say It This Way:

If you were advertising an automobile repair kit, which would be the most effective headline: “How to Repair Cars” or “How to Fix Cars”? Remember, the wrong answer could cost you over 20% of your business. If you said “repair,” you need to fix what you said. The single word “Fix” repaired that headline and the ad consistently pulled in 20% more business.

The moral: Whatever writing you need repaired, I’ll be happy to fix.

If You’re Still Not Convinced, Allow Me One Final Breath:

When you ask your customers what they think of your new, expensive brochure, do they say, “What brochure?” When you send out a press release, do you have to send it by certified return receipt to get a response?
